Regatta takes a proactive and progressive approach to our community improvement.

We have created relationships with Save the Children, where we support efforts to improve the quality of life for children living in the Mississippi Delta. We are also committed to our environment by supporting Sustainable Travel, where we purchase carbon offsets for clients traveling to and from any of our offices.

We have also been inspired by the book Banker to the Poor: Micro-Lending and the Battle Against World Poverty, by Bangladeshi economist Muhammad Yunus, who won the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize for pioneering "micro credit." Regatta provides funding to entrepreneurs in developing countries to create and build their businesses.

Inspired by the example of Muhammad Yunus, we provide small, interest free loans to budding entrepreneurs in third world countries throughout the world through the non-profit Kiva organization. We firmly believe that the key to poverty eradication is to unleash the power of the entrepreneur and the spirit of free enterprise. We are proud to participate in this program.

Finally, our team members are heavily involved in supporting our local community ranging from coaching Little League Baseball to being board members of important organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and the Houston Grand Opera.

At Regatta, we firmly believe in the saying, "Knowledge is Power." We are extremely proud of our non-credit, investment education courses that we teach both at local universities and independently. These educational courses are designed to meet the needs of investors with varying levels of knowledge and experience. These courses are currently being taught or have been taught at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Tulane University College in New Orleans, and investor education classes throughout the city of Houston, TX.

Regatta also provides Continuing Professional Education (CPA and CPE) throughout the nation with plans of adding online continuing education courses.
